A huge congratulations to Naomi and Kevin who were married at the stunning Brocket Hall.
I met Naomi and the girls in the Northern Dancer room at Brocket Hall on the morning of the wedding to get some beautiful pre wedding shots. The venue is stunning and the bedrooms were fabulous for photographs with the light pouring in through large windows and really picking Naomi out as she was having her make up done. I met Kevin and the guys in front of the lake and I took some great shots of them putting their flowers on and greeting the guests as they arrived before I popped back to Naomi as she had her dress on. During the ceremony and reception, I take natural documentary style photographs of everything as it unfolds around me and I find that it allows me to capture all of the natural emotions as they happen. The weather was really unpredictable and so following the ceremony, Helen from Brocket Hall kindly drove us to a couple of locations for the photoshoot which had the iconic bridge and waterfall and mansion house in the background. I had also seen a lovely spot with trees naturally framing the house and as well as natural light, I took the opportunity to use a little off camera flash to create a really dramatic look. Naomi and Kevin were naturals and look fabulous in the photographs! Following the group photos which Naomi had asked me to, I photographed the remainder of the day in a natural way, capturing everything as it happened during the speeches, evening reception, cake cutting and first dance.
